Yvonne Mae Knowlton, 80, Rolling Prairie, died at 9:55 a.m. Wednesday (March 10, 2004) at Countryside Place Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, LaPorte.
There will be a graveside service at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Westlawn Cemetery, North Liberty, Ind., with Rev. Kathy Evans officiating. Burial will follow at Westlawn Cemetery.
Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Cutler Funeral Home, LaPorte.
Mrs. Knowlton was born March 19, 1923, in Walkerton, Ind., to Edward and Edith (Clark) Ullery. On June 26, 1976, in Fish Lake, she married Walter D. Knowlton, who died Feb. 26, 2004.
Survivors include one daughter, Sharon Montgomery (Terry) Jertberg, Gainesville, Fla.; five sons, Ron (Barbara) Bussie, Fish Lake, Douglas Bussie, Westville, Greg (Karen) Brooks, Long Beach, Calif., David Brooks, Huntington Beach, Calif., and Michael Brewster, Bass Lake, Ind.; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Rosemary Ullery, LaPorte, Jessie (Bob) Schaeffer, Walkerton, and Joan (James) Minear, Angola, Ind.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Edward Allan Ullery.
Mrs. Knowlton retired from Howmet Inc., where she was a wax injector. She was a member of the New Covenant Church of God, Rolling Prairie.
