Zenaida Garcia, 58, of LaPorte, Indiana, passed away at 10:50 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at LaPorte Hospital.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 14 at noon at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. David Kime officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00-9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 11:30 a.m. at Cutler Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pine Lake Cemetery.
Zenaida was born June 1, 1948, in Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico to Juan Manrquez and Esperanza Sagrero. She married Jose Ascencion Garcia who survives.
Also surviving are sons Jorge Garcia and Jose Ascension Garcia, both of LaPorte; daughters Fabiola, Lorena and Maria Garcia, also all of LaPorte; grandchildren Jorge & Larry Garcia, Luis Joel & Daniel Ruiz, Alex Orozco, Juan Carols Reyes, Angel Gabriel Garcia, Viridiana & Lluvia Garcia and Suleima Reyes; and her mother Esperanza of Mexico.
Her father preceded her in death.
Zenaida was a homemaker and she was also a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
