Bruno Esteban Puentes

Bruno Esteban Puentes, 51, of La Porte, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023.

Bruno was born on August 3, 1971 in Sinaloa, Mexico, to Chavelo Puentes and Martha Quevedo.

Surviving Bruno are his children, Thalia Garcia-Castro of Warsaw, Alejandra Puentes of Nappanee, Jaden Puentes of La Porte, Christian Garcia of La Porte, Marisa Swager of Hamlet, Amber Mote of Grovertown, and Bruno Puentes-Nolazco of Sacramento, CA; 6 grandchildren, Madison, Carson, Caitlyn, Lilyana, Harley, and Alysia; father, Chavelo Puentes; siblings, Karol, Martha, and Claudia Quevedo; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Quevedo; granddaughter, Gabriella Swager; and brother, Ulysses "Cacho" Puentes.

Bruno worked in maintenance for many years.  He enjoyed playing guitar, collecting coins, hunting, and fishing.  More than anything, Bruno loved spending time with his children.

A Private Celebration of Life Service will be held at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.  Burial will follow at Pine Lake Cemetery.
